Rainbow Brite Complete Animated Series DVD (1984)

A girl named Wisp is called to a gray, lifeless land. With a sprite named Twink and a magnificent horse named Starlite, she frees the Color Kids, becomes Rainbow Brite and brings color back to Rainbow Land, while the gloomy Murky Dismal and his sidekick Lurky do everything they can to drain it away again.

Based on the Hallmark Cards character, the animated series ran in syndication from 1984 to 1986, with Bettina Bush as the voice of Rainbow Brite. It arrived alongside a Mattel toy line and the 1985 film Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer, and it is still a favorite of kids who grew up in the 80s.

The Rainbow Brite complete animated series DVD holds all 13 episodes on a single disc: 4½ hours of uncut, digitally remastered animation. The disc is region free and plays on any DVD player in the world, and the interactive menu includes Play All. Audio is in English only, with no subtitles.
