About This Set
The Midnight Society is back in session. In Are You Afraid of the Dark, a group of teens meets by firelight to trade scary stories, and every episode is a new tale, told by a different member and introduced with the words “Submitted for the approval of the Midnight Society.”
The original series ran on YTV and Nickelodeon in the 1990s, five seasons plus a 1999–2000 revival, and it is still a favorite for the kids who grew up with it. Watch for young guest stars like Ryan Gosling, Neve Campbell and Melissa Joan Hart before they were famous.
The Are You Afraid of the Dark complete TV series Blu-Ray set comes on 5 discs and holds all 91 episodes from all seven seasons: 36 hours in total. That’s 13 episodes in each of the seven seasons. The series wasn’t made in high definition, so every episode has been upconverted frame by frame to 1080p, in its original full-screen format. The discs are region free and play on any Blu-Ray player in the world, and the interactive menus include Play All for easy binge-watching. Audio is in English only, with no subtitles.
Add the Are You Afraid of the Dark complete TV series Blu-Ray set to your collection. Gather the Midnight Society for all seven seasons in one set.

Take my money!!! This really is in full 1080p HD. The picture quality is outstanding. I’m not sure how it was done, but the digital remaster really looks great. The audio is really good too and sounds great on my surround sound system. The menus are really cool too and really set the tone for the show. I’d definitely recommend this set to others.

When I saw this show was available on Blu-Ray I FREAKED OUT! (No pun intended!) 😀 I heard rumors they were going to remake this show recently but nothing will beat this 90’s classic. Forget Goosebumps and other imitators, Are you Afraid of the Dark will always be the best scary kids show around.

I did a lot of research before buying these sets. I purchased both the Afraid of the Dark and Spider-Man shows from TVShowDVDs.com because they are the ONLY official import distributor of HKLDVD shows. There are a lot of imitators out there selling copies and worse quality versions. TVShowDVDs sells directly the original import copies and are the highest quality available anywhere. All other sellers have stolen the pictures and copies from the original TVShowDVDs version. You get full interactive menus with these sets that other sellers might not have. And the quality in general of these sets is far superior to some of the sets out there. I gladly paid a little more to make sure I got the original producer of these sets.
