Seven kids at summer camp, a sudden snowfall in the middle of summer, and a trip into the Digital World that changes everything. Tai, Matt, Sora, Izzy, Mimi, Joe and T.K. are each paired with a Digimon partner and become the DigiDestined. To get home, and later to save both worlds, they search for the Crests that help their partners Digivolve, and stand up to Devimon, Etemon, Myotismon and the Dark Masters.

This is the season that brought Digimon to America, premiering on Fox Kids in August 1999 as Digimon: Digital Monsters. Joshua Seth voices Tai and Tom Fahn voices Agumon, and Tai’s little sister Kari joins the team later in the season. Friendship, monster battles and real danger made it a favorite for a whole generation.
