About This Set
The Tick is the superhero parody that kids and grown-ups both loved: a big blue hero with a booming battle cry, a sidekick named Arthur in a moth suit, and a city full of absurd villains. It ran for three seasons on Fox Kids from 1994 to 1996.
Based on Ben Edlund’s comic, the cartoon won two Annie Awards in 1995, and IGN later ranked it sixth on its list of the greatest animated series. It went on to inspire two live-action versions.
The Tick complete animated series uncut Blu-Ray set comes on 2 discs and holds all 36 episodes from all three seasons, uncut with nothing edited out: 12 hours in total. Season by season, that’s 13, 13 and 10 episodes. The series wasn’t made in high definition, so every episode has been upconverted frame by frame to 1080p, in its original full-screen format. The discs are region free and play on any Blu-Ray player in the world, and the interactive menus include Play All for easy binge-watching. Audio is in English only, with no subtitles.
Add The Tick complete animated series uncut Blu-Ray set to your collection. Every one of the Tick’s adventures, uncut, in one set.

I bought this show from another seller on eBay. BIG MISTAKE! Even though it looked the same, it was actually a copied version from this TVShowDVDs import set. They stole the pictures from this site and everything. The version they have has reprinted artwork and doesn’t look original like this version. I didn’t get a refund but I was able to order this one instead and it was definitely worth the extra $$$.

I’ve been waiting for The Tick to get the Blu-ray treatment, and this set didn’t disappoint. The remastering job is solid, especially considering the original wasn’t in HD. It’s like seeing the show for the first time all over again. Each episode brings back so many memories, and having the entire series uncut means there’s nothing missing from the experience. The video quality is surprisingly good for a show of its age, and having all episodes uncut is a huge plus. This set has been a great addition to my collection, and I’d recommend it to any fan of the series or superhero comedies in general.
