About This Set
The Planeteers’ mission continues. Kwame, Wheeler, Linka, Gi and Ma-Ti keep using their rings to fight eco-villains like Verminous Skumm, Duke Nukem and Dr. Blight, and they call on Captain Planet when the odds turn against them.
Produced by Hanna-Barbera, seasons 4 to 6 aired from 1993 to 1996 with more mature stories, fuller backstories for the Planeteers, improved animation and a new orchestral score. Margot Kidder took over as Gaia, Malcolm McDowell and Tim Curry joined the villain voices, and David Coburn, the voice of Captain Planet, took over the opening narration.
The New Adventures of Captain Planet complete animated series DVD set comes on 4 discs and includes all 48 episodes from the last three seasons: nearly 18 hours of uncut, digitally remastered animation. Season by season, that’s 22, 13 and 13 episodes. The discs are region free and play on any DVD player in the world, with interactive menus that take you straight to any episode. Audio is in English only, with no subtitles.
