About This Set
Fifteen years after a fire destroyed their temple, each believing the other was dead, Shaolin priest Kwai Chang Caine finds his son Peter, now a big-city police detective. As the two rebuild their bond, Caine’s wisdom and martial arts become part of Peter’s toughest cases.
David Carradine, star of the original 1970s Kung Fu, leads this modern-day sequel alongside Chris Potter as Peter and Kim Chan as the Ancient. The series ran in first-run syndication from 1993 to 1997 and was filmed in Toronto, much of it in the city’s historic Chinatown, though the city is never named on screen. Jeff Danna composed the music.

I’m not old enough to watch the original Kung Fu series, but I loved this show as a child. My dad used to tell me about the original show that he watched when he was a kid. I’m thankful that I finally found this as a complete series set. It’s been really fun watching it again over and over. 🙂

5 stars! This set is really high quality and I’ve been very happy with my purchase. I was so happy finding the complete series all in one compilation. The video looks really good and the menus are easy to use and offer some good features. It’s going to take me a long time to get through the whole show but I’m looking forward to it!

I’m ringing in 2021 with a Kung FU: TLC Marathon. What a show. RIP the late David Carradine, you will be missed. This show still holds up today and I’m glad I own it which IMO is much better than using any streaming service.
